Acting

Peter developed acting skills through many years of improvising, and brings them in to play particularly during long form pieces. Since arriving in Amsterdam, he has steadily increased his involvement in the world of acting.

Acting Experience:

	Lawyer, To Bio or Not To Bio. Play with video and improvised dialogue. Directed by Aida Rodriguez Mussach, Sensenom productions. De Niewe Anita September 2009 as part of the Amsterdam Fringe Festival.
	Panelist, The Power of Listening. Panel discussion recreated from audience memory. Prix de Rome-nominated art project by visual artist Nicoline van Harskamp. Frascati Theater, May 2009.
	Inspector in Baby Baby Baby. Play with video and improvised dialogue. Directed by Aida Rodriguez Mussach, Sensenom productions. Ostade Theater, January-February 2009. Trailer.
	Various roles including Doctor and Sleazy Man in sketches co-directed with Annelies van Dam. Produced by easylaughs and Epidog productions.
	Psychiatrist in sketch for Problem Solved, Chicken Phobia. Directed by Rick Phelps.
	O-Saddam-Bin-La-Jong in public reading of Lysistrata (by Aristophanes, translated and adapted by Donna DuCarme) organised by Theatergroep Trezoor as part of an international initiative for peace. Read at Theater de Balie, Amsterdam, 3rd March 2003.
	Richard in Lovin' Shakespeare, comedy play made up from various Shakespeare texts. Created by Grainne Delaney, Donna DuCarme and William Sutton. Directed by Grainne Delaney and Donna DuCarme. Produced by Theatregroep Trezoor at Theater de Cameleon, Amsterdam, 15th-26th October 2002. A recording of this play was broadcast on Dutch local cable channel Salto.
	Appeared on cheapo British satellite channel L!VE TV's Lie Detector programme as an ‘accuser.’ Fortunately the channel no longer exists and hopefully all the tapes have been wiped.
Voice Work:
	Voices for 2 characters in forthcoming animation, Deep Shit, about a punk band desperate for success. Produced by Photon Films for release in 2009.
	Voice-Over for AIDS Awareness Commercial Test, THYR Media Communications, February 2004. This film was nominated for a Young Directors Award at the Cannes Lions Advertising festival award in the Commercial Test category at Cannes 2004.

Acting Training:

• Performing Improvised comedy since 1994.
• Taken courses and workshops by top performers and teachers such as Alan Marriot, Suki Webster, Phelim McDermott, Lee Simpson, Stella Duffy, Patti Stiles, Neil Mallarkey, John Voce, Niall Ashdown, Luke Sorba, Tim Orr, William Sutton, Kay Rothman, Michael Legge and Jordan Peele.
• Specialist courses and workshops attended include accents, intensive Shakespeare, performing sonnets, stage fighting, puppetry, mime and other physical theatre.
